Dominique Strauss-Kahn Arrest, something doesn't smell right

If I were Sarkozy and wanted to get rid of Dominique Strauss-Kahn this would be a great way to do it, a good setup. DSK is a well known horndog, all it would take is a phone call telling him he is getting special room service from a visitor dressed up as a maid and then a phone call to sofitel to have the maid service come to his room.

Not saying something didn't transpire in terms of the allegation, that quite possibly did all happen, but I wonder what he was doing waiting naked in his room. Something doesn't smell right...

New details support the thesis that this is a setup: "New details emerged of the scramble to detain Mr. Strauss-Kahn in the hours after the alleged incident Saturday. A key moment came, police said, when Mr. Strauss-Kahn called the hotel to ask if he had left his cellphone there. A hotel security official fibbed and said he did have the phone—then asked for Mr. Strauss-Kahn's location to meet him and return it. Police made the arrest at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, where Mr. Strauss-Kahn had boarded a flight for France."

Why the heck would you call about your cell phone and then give up your location if you were trying to make a quick getaway?

Police said a 32-year-old cleaning woman accused Mr. Strauss-Kahn of sexually assaulting her in the Sofitel Hotel near Times Square.

The alleged victim, a native of Guinea and mother of two, said she entered room 2806, a $3,000-a-night luxury suite, around 12 p.m. on Saturday to clean it, thinking it was empty, according to a law-enforcement official with knowledge of the case.

According to the narrative she gave investigators, Mr. Strauss-Kahn emerged from the bathroom nude and approached her from behind and touched her breast, then threw her on to the bed, the official said.

Here are the new facts we've learned:

1) DSK checked out at 12:28 PM.

Comment 1: He took the time to check out after making this violent assault? According to the police, he was totally naked in his room, assaulted the chambermaid in his room but the victim escaped and reported what was going on to management. Yet, somehow DSK had the time to put on a suit and then checks out? He's either more messed up in the head than people have been saying or my original suspicions were correct.

2) DSK had lunch with his daughter, who is a PhD student at Columbia at 1 PM.

Comment 2: So he perpetrates this assault and then has lunch with his daughter? Sounds like odd behavior for one fleeing a crime, as has been portrayed.

3) DSK called the hotel later in the afternoon after he finding he forgot his cell phone. The hotel security maanger, at the behest of the NYPD, told DSK the hotel would deliver the phone to him as a courtesy and DSK told them he would be flying out of JFK, as well as his flight number. DSK's flight was at 4:30 PM on Air France.

Comment 3: This is also odd behavior for one fleeing a crime, as has been portrayed.
